2. What are the requirements to become a Cotton Mark dealer, franchisee owner, or agent?

At Cotton Mark, we offer three distinguished business opportunities for our esteemed partners: Agencies, Franchisee, and Dealerships. As you progress through each level, you will unlock increasing benefits and opportunities for growth, ensuring a rewarding experience at every stage. Common Sales Target Policy (Agencies and Franchisee):

For the first 6 months, there will be no hard sales targets for both Agencies and Franchisee. However, we will provide a soft target for you to strive toward. Failing to meet this soft target during the initial 6 months will not affect your agency or franchisee status or level in any way. After 6 months, hard sales targets will be introduced. Failure to meet these hard targets for consecutive 3 months may result in strict actions and penalties.

Agency:

To join us as an Agency, you need only commit 30 minutes of your time each day, with access to a mobile phone and the internet. There is no additional investment, special qualifications, or prior experience required to embark on this journey with us. We will provide all the tools and support needed to help you succeed. As you move forward in your partnership, the benefits will continue to expand, providing you with more opportunities as you progress.

Franchisee:

To become a Franchisee, an initial deposit ranging from ₹20,000 to ₹500,000 INR (₹5 Lakhs) or $1,000 to $5,000 USD is required, depending on your location and eligibility. At the initial level, garment sales experience is essential. As you advance to higher levels, more specific experience or requirements may be introduced. The more you grow within the franchise, the greater the rewards and support.

Dealer:

To become a Dealer, you must possess proven experience in the field, with a deposit ranging from ₹10,00,000 (₹10 Lakhs) INR to ₹1,00,00,000 (₹1 Crore or ₹10 million) INR, or $20,000 to $60,000 USD. For this role, prior experience in the luxury fashion industry is a must. As you move forward, additional requirements may be introduced. Dealers will also begin with soft sales targets during the first 3 months. After this period, hard sales targets will be set. We are fully committed to assisting you in achieving these targets, offering support and guidance throughout the process.

Sales Targets and Performance Expectations:

As you embark on this journey with Cotton Mark, we want you to succeed. That’s why we offer a soft target for the first 6 months of your partnership, ensuring a smooth start. For Agencies and Franchisee, after 6 months, hard sales targets will be introduced, and failing to meet these targets for 3 consecutive months will result in strict actions and penalties. 3. What support does Cotton Mark provide to its Agencies, franchisees & dealers?

We offer comprehensive support, including initial training, marketing materials, ongoing operational support, and access to exclusive product lines. The level of support varies based on your Agency, Franchisee, or Dealership level, agent type, and revenue (especially after the first three months).

To become a Cotton Mark Agency, no financial investment is required. You only need to be willing to dedicate 30 minutes of your time every day and have access to a mobile phone and internet. No other special experience is necessary, but a minimum qualification of graduation or similar achievements is required.

7. How long does it take to open a Cotton Mark store after approval?
Once approved, it typically takes 3-6 months to open a store, depending on the location and readiness of the retail space. Only approved dealers are authorized to open shops or conduct exhibitions. However, in some exceptional cases, franchises are also allowed to open shops or conduct exhibitions.
8. Can I convert my existing store into a Cotton Mark Dealership or franchise?

Yes, you can convert your existing store into a Cotton Mark shop if you are eligible as a high-level franchise or dealership. Additionally, your existing shop must qualify and fulfill all the requirements of a Cotton Mark shop or place of business. Please note that once your shop is converted to a Cotton Mark shop, you cannot keep, sell, or provide products or services of any other company or brand.

9. What are the ongoing fees associated with a Cotton Mark Agents?

No, you don't have to pay any royalty ever as long as you remain an agent and do not upgrade to a franchise or dealership.

10. What are the ongoing fees associated with a Cotton Mark franchise?
Franchisees do not have to pay monthly fees; however, in exceptional cases, high-level franchisees may be required to pay a monthly percentage or levy. Please check your franchise contract for more details.
11. What are the ongoing fees associated with a Cotton Mark Dealership?
Dealerships are required to pay both a royalty fee and a marketing contribution. The fees are 3-5% of total monthly revenue or ₹80,000 INR, whichever is higher. For dealerships outside India, the fee is $1,500 USD or 3-5% of monthly revenue, whichever is higher. Detailed information on these fees can be found in your dealership agreement.
